Pursuant to the last order, learned counsel for the respondents has obtained instructions and submits that the petitioner is now being paid a monthly pension of Rs. 22,900/-, which is strictly in accordance with the recommendations made by the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC). Further, the monthly pension of the petitioner in terms of the 5th CPC and 6th CPC have also been revised to Rs. 3,814/- and Rs. 10,629/- with effect from December, 2005 and December, 2015 respectively. 2.
In the light of this stand taken by the respondents, nothing further survives for adjudication in the present petition, which is disposed of by directing the respondents to pay arrears, if any, with effect from 01.01.2016 as per the revised pension to the petitioner.
