After some arguments, it is agreed that the petitioner-association shall make a representation to the Steering Committee constituted by the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change vide Notification dated 11th March, 2024 within a week. The same shall be decided by the Steering Committee by way of a reasoned order, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the representative of petitioner-association, in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within three weeks. 2.

With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition and applications are disposed of.

This Court clarifies that it has not commented on the merits of the controversy. The rights and contentions of all the parties are left open.
