By way of the present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks following prayers :- "Issue a writ in the nature of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction thereby issuance of necessary direction to respondent to expediting the investigation in FIR No. 0616/2023 dated 08.08.2023 registered with Police Station Mundka, District Outer District (Delhi), Delhi U/ S 419/420/120B IPC and all further proceedings emanating there from;"

ASC for the State accepts the notice and, on instructions, submits that during the investigation parties had approached the IO and informed him that settlement efforts are going on between them however, subsequently, the efforts did not materialise.
