The petitioner has filed the present petition. inter alia, praying for an anticipatory bail in connection with FIR No.0225, under Sections 406/420/120B registered with PS EOW, Delhi.

The petitioner was one of the office bearers of a charitable society - Chitranjan Park Kali Mandir Society.

The allegations against the petitioner and certain other office bearers are that they have misappropriated the funds/assets of the said society.

The petitioner states that the aforesaid complaint has been made at the instance of certain other persons who are claiming to have been elected as

office bearers of the said society. The petitioner contends that the FIR has been filed with the ulterior motive in view of certain election disputes with the complainant and other persons claiming to be elected office bearers of the said society.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner further states that the petitioner is of an advanced age of eighty-two years. 6.

Ms Dhalla, learned APP states, on instructions, that if the petitioner joins the investigation, there may not be any necessity to arrest the petitioner at this stage.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the petitioner shall join the investigation immediately on receipt of notice from the Investigating Officer.

The petitioner is bound down to the said statement.

In view of the above, the petitioner is admitted to anticipatory bail in connection with FIR No.0225, under Sections 406/420/120B of the IPC, registered with PS EOW, Delhi on his furnishing a Personal Bond in the sum of ₹10,000/- and one surety of an equivalent amount to the satisfaction of the SHO/IO. The petitioner shall provide his contact details and mobile number and ensure that the is reachable at all times. 9.

The petition is allowed in the aforesaid terms. The pending application is disposed of.
