This petition is filed by the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator by a period of one year. 2.

It is a common case of the parties that pleadings are yet to be completed and therefore in light of Section 29A(1), the mandate is yet to expire and hence no extension is required.

Petition is accordingly disposed of, as no order is required to be passed at this stage.
