% 07.03.2024 Mr. Maratha, learned counsel appearing for the respondent, apprises the Court that the Returned Income has been accepted. In view of the aforesaid, the challenge to the notice under Section 148 of the Income Tax Act, 1961 would no longer survive. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of as having rendered infructuous.

However, we provide that in case the writ petitioner have any issue with respect to the Final Assessment Order that has been framed, we reserve liberty to it to take such steps as may be otherwise permissible in law.
