The appellant/claimant seeks enhancement of compensation over and above what has been granted by the learned Tribunal vide award dated 06.12.2023.

We have interacted with the learned counsel/parties concerned. Apropos such interaction and due deliberation, the parties have agreed that respondent/Insurance Company shall pay enhanced compensation Rs.5,50,000/- over and above the compensation granted by the learned Tribunal to the appellant.

In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, the respondent /Insurance Company is directed to deposit the enhanced amount of Rs.5,50,000/- before the Concerned Tribunal within a The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. period of five weeks from today, failing which the respondent shall be liable to pay interest @ 9% p.a. for the delayed period. Concerned Tribunal shall release the aforesaid amount alongwith interest, if any, to the appellant, subject to verification and completion of requisite formalities.

The present appeal alongwith the pending application(s), if any, is disposed of in terms of the foregoing settlement 5.

A copy of this order be sent to concerned Ld. Tribunal with LCR, if requisitioned and received.
