This is a petition filed under Section 29A (4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of Arbitral Tribunal by a period of one month for concluding the Arbitral proceedings and passing the Arbitral Award.

It is stated that the delay for concluding the Arbitral proceedings is on account of some amendments in the statement of claims and counter claims by both the parties.

On the last date of hearing i.e. 08.08.2024, Mr. Rupal, learned counsel for the respondent sought time to obtain instructions. 4.

Mr. Rupal, learned counsel appears through video conferencing and has no objection to this petition being allowed. 5.

I am satisfied that the sufficient cause has been shown for extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.
