This is a petition for issuing directions to the respondent to release the petitioner on parole for 8 weeks to perform the rites and rituals on the barsi of his real brother on 12.08.2025.

Petitioner was convicted in case FIR no. 185/2012 under Section 302/34 of IPC, PS Mangol Puri and sentenced with life imprisonment. 3.

The Ld. Counsel for the petitioner submits that despite filing the parole application on 17.06.2025 no decision has been made within the statutory period of 4 weeks.

The Ld. In view of the statement made by the Ld. ASC on behalf of the State petition is disposed of with directions that the application filed by the petitioner for grant of parole be disposed of within next 10 days. 6.

Copy of this order be also sent to the Superintendent Jail for compliance.
