It transpires during the course of hearing, that an order dated 18.12.2025 has been passed by the Deputy Director, Directorate of Education: Private School Branch (PSB), Old Secretariat, Delhi-110054 in compliance with the directions contained in the order dated 17.12.2024 passed in W.P(C) 17387/2024 (of which contempt is alleged in the present proceedings).

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vide the aforesaid order dated 17.12.2024, the writ petition of the petitioner was directed to be treated as a representation and a reasoned order was also directed to be passed thereon.

Learned counsel for the petitioner accedes that there has been partial compliance inasmuch as one facet of the grievance of the petitioner has been dealt with in the aforesaid order dated 18.12.2025 passed by the Deputy Director, Directorate of Education. However, there are certain other aspects including those set out in ground JJ of the writ petition which have not been adverted to/ dealt with/ disposed of by the Deputy Director, Directorate of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. In the circumstances, after some hearing, with consent of learned counsel for the respondent, it is directed that the Deputy Director, Directorate of Education shall afford another opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass a supplementary order dealing with the remaining/ surviving grievance of the petitioner as articulated in W.P(C) 17387/2024. 5.

Let the aforesaid exercise be concluded as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of twelve weeks from today. 6.

The petition is disposed of in the above terms. 7.

Needless to say, the petitioner shall be at liberty to avail further/ appropriate remedies in accordance with law.
