O R D E R

% 28.02.2017 Petitioner no. 1 is husband of respondent no. 2. Petitioner nos. 2 and 3 are parents of petitioner no. 1. It is submitted that petitioner nos. 1 and 2 on the one hand and respondent no. 2 on the other have settled their disputes before the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre, vide Settlement Agreement dated 22nd February, 2017. Parties shall remain bound by the terms of Settlement Agreement marked C-1. Respondent no. 2 submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further, in view of the settlement arrived at between her and the petitioner

nos. 1 and 2. She submits that petitioner no. 3 has signed the agreement as a witness. However, she is not willing to pursue the FIR against her as well. Respondent no. 2 further submits that she has settled the matter with petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, coercion and pressure. She further submits that the FIR may be quashed. In view of the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2, I am of the opinion that no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 391/2016 under Sections 380/448/34 IPC registered at Police Station Saket and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
