The instant petition was filed in 2019 seeking quashing of FIR No. 0480/2016, under Sections 354, 506, 436 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code 1860, at P.S. Dwarka South, Delhi. The parties were referred to the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre by this Court on 3rd February, 2025, however the said mediation did not fructify and ended as "non-starter", as per Mediation Report dated 12th February, 2025. 2.

The instant petition was filed, premised on a settlement between the Petitioner and the Complainant. However, since the matter itself has not been settled, the Court finds no basis to quash the FIR. 3.

In the absence of any genuine settlement between the parties, the Court is not inclined to keep the present matter pending. Accordingly, the same is disposed of.
