At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks deletion of respondent No.2 from the array of parties. The oral prayer made by the petitioner is allowed. Respondent No.2 is deleted from the array of parties. 2.
By way of the present petition, the petitioner seeks directions to the trial court for expeditious disposal of the trial pending in the context of the FIR No.35/2008 registered under Sections 406/120B/411 IPC at P.S. Karol Bagh.

year 2009 and the charges were framed on 03.04.2013. Since then, the trial has not proceeded for one reason or the other for the last 11 years. 4.

The trial court shall ensure that the witnesses are summoned. 7.
Learned APP for the State assures that all such necessary steps would be taken by the concerned I.O./S.H.O. for summoning and appearance of the witnesses before the concerned trial court. As the trial is with respect to the cases which are more than 10 years old, the court concerned shall make an endeavour to conclude the trial within one year from the next date of hearing.
