The present petition seeks following prayers: "A. Issue an appropriate writ(s)/direction(s) for seeking appropriate writ(s) / direction(s) in the Civil Writ Petition Under Article 226/227 Of Constitution Of India Read For Seeking Appropriate Writ(S) / Direction(S) In The Nature Of Mandamus Or Any Other Writ Seeking Directions For Mere Participation In The Under 17 Gymnasium Event For Girls Organise By The Directorate Of Education(Sports ) Vide Circular No De/41/Sports/2017 4359-64 Dated 19.10 .2023 Issued By The Deputy Director Of Education(Sports) With Regard To The Organisation Of The Delhi State School Games (Under- 17 Gymnasium For Girls ) For The Year 2023-24 And In The Nature Of Mandamus Directing The Respondent To Atleast Allow Her To Participate In The Selection Round To Be Held On 2nd December 2023 B. Pass an order directing the school authorities to provide with the necessary no objection or required documents facilitating the participation of the petitioner from the tournament for Zone 18 and 21 to be scheduled on 2nd December 2023."

It has been pointed out by the learned counsel for the respondent that in fact, the petitioner was permitted to participate in the concerned Games referred to in the aforesaid prayers, by virtue of the order dated 01.12.2023 passed in these proceedings. As such, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed in terms of the said order.

In view of the aforesaid and in view of the non-appearance of the petitioner, the present petition is dismissed-in-default for non-prosecution. Pending application also stands disposed of.
