Under the Delhi Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Scheme, 2019, some of the petitioners are already included in survey that is to be conducted; however, some are left behind, which perhaps forms the basis of their grievance in this petition. 2.
Counsel for petitioners states that they shall submit their claim before the competent authority in any case by tomorrow, i.e. 25th July 2025, by 4:00 P.M., along with all the supporting documents. 3.
Counsel for respondents submits that, once such claims are submitted by petitioners, who are aggrieved by the non-inclusion of their candidatures in the survey, the same shall be considered as per the terms of the 2019 Scheme referred to above.

We expect the respondent to take a decision on the claim so put forth by the aggrieved petitioners and communicate their decision taken within 8 weeks thereafter.

Needless to clarify that in view of the objections canvassed by the counsel for respondent, this order shall be restricted to the extent of claim put forth by the petitioners who are included in the memo of parties attached to the petition.
