This writ petition has been preferred on behalf of the Petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs: "a) Issue a Writ including the Writ of or in the nature of Mandamus or any other direction or direct the Respondent to change the conditions added later in the succession letter dated 30.04.2024, marked as Annexure P/ 4 by the Respondent Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited, New Delhi; b) Issue appropriate Writ in the nature of Mandamus or any direction or order to conclude the investigation speedily and judiciously for the Petitioner to avail monetary benefits for her grandson; c) Issue appropriate Writ in the nature of Mandamus or any direction or order directing the Respondent Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited, New Delhi to release the funds of the Petitioner's son to the Petitioner entitled for such benefit for her grandson;
d) Issue appropriate Writ in the nature of Mandamus or any direction or order directing the investigating agency to ensure judicious investigation and search of the missing son of the Petitioner within a fixed time as the Petitioner is of very old age around 74 years and has a sole responsibility of her grandson aged around 12 years;
e) Issue appropriate Order to treat issue monetary allowances to the Petitioner for the sufferings which Petitioner has went through due to the malice intention on part of the Respondent to change the conditions of the W.P.(C) 10978/2024 Page 1 of 2 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. letter of succession."

In view of the relief claimed in the present petition and considering that the Respondent/Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited is notified under Section 14 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985, remedy of the Petitioner lies before the Central Administrative Tribunal as a Court of first instance as per the binding dictum of the Supreme Court in the judgment in L. Chandra Kumar v. Union of India and Others, (1997) 3 SCC 261. 3.
At this stage, learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks to withdraw the petition with liberty to take recourse to appropriate remedies before the appropriate Forum.

Writ Petition is disposed of as withdrawn, with liberty as prayed for, in accordance with law.
