After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition to seek appropriate remedy in accordance with Section 17 of the Maternity Benefits Act, 1961.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to approach the Appropriate Authority under Section 17 of the Maternity and Benefits Act, 1961. All the rights and contentions raised in the present petition shall be available to the petitioner to raise before the Appropriate Authority under Section 17 of the Act.

The petition is disposed of with the aforesaid liberty. 4.
Pending application also stands disposed of.
