W.P.(CRL) 2405/2024 & CRL.M.A. 23493/2024 1.

The Petitioner has approached this Court for quashing FIR No.178/2022 dated 15.04.2022, registered at Police Station Narela for offences punishable under Sections 498N406/34 IPC. 2.

The present petition has filed by the Petitioners herein being Petitioner No.1 who is brother-in-law of the Complainant, Petitioner No.2 who is the wife of Petitioner No.1 i.e., the sister in law of the Complainant, Petitioner No.3 who is the brother-in-law of the Complainant, Petitioner No.4 is the wife of Petitioner No.3 i.e., the sister-in-law of the Complainant and the Petitioner No.5 who is the sister-in-law of the Complainant. When this Court made a suggestion to the learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioners that since chargesheet has been filed and the case is listed before the Trial Court for argument on framing of charges on 12.12.2024, it would be more appropriate for the Petitioners to raise all the contentions, including the contentions raised in this petition before the Trial Court at the time of framing of charges, the learned Counsel for the Petitioner graciously accepts the suggestion and seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to approach this Court at a later point of time in case need so arises in future.

Permission and liberty, as sought for, are granted. 5.

The present FIR is of the year 2022 and and two years have passed. The Trial Court is requested to hear the arguments on charge on the next date of hearing and conclude it as expeditiously as possible. 6.

The petition is disposed of as withdrawn, along with pending application(s), if any. Since no arguments have been advanced, this Court has not made any observations on the merits of the case.
