Notably, the directions to expedite the trial came to be passed on 16.02.2024 in the present bail application. A perusal of the request letter would reflect that all the prosecution witnesses stand examined and the matter is listed at the stage of recording of statement of accused persons that couldn't be recorded in the absence/non-appearance of accused persons. 3.

In view of the request made, the Trial Court shall make an endeavour to conclude the trial within six months from today. 4.
