(ORAL) 1.

Declaration of result of Security Officer (E1 Level) is under challenge in this petition on the ground that the pass percentage as per the ONGC norms is 65% but in the Advertisement (Annexure P-1), the pass percentage of written examination has been fixed at 60% and this is to the prejudice of petitioners. 2.

To seek the relief as claimed in this petition, it is required that the petitioners ought to, in the first instance, approach the respondent-ONGC by W.P.(C) No.1632/2018

way of a Representation.

3.

In the facts and circumstances of this case, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of this petition with permission to petitioners to file a concise representation to respondent No.2 within a week. If such a Representation is received by second respondent, then it shall be dealt with by passing a speaking order within a period of two weeks and the fate of the representation be made known to petitioners within a week thereafter, so that petitioners may avail of the remedy as available in law. 4.

With aforesaid directions, this petition and the applications are disposed of.
