% 24.09.2025 1.
Learned counsels appearing for the appellant and respondent no.2 state that the appellant and the respondent no.2 have been able to reach an amicable settlement before Samadhan, Delhi High Court Mediation & Conciliation Centre on 11.09.2025 and in terms of the said settlement, the second party/respondent no. 2 has agreed to pay the appellant a sum of Rs.25,000/- by way of demand draft bearing number 000203, drawn on Bandhan Bank, Hapur Branch. It is, however, clarified that the said settlement incorrectly recorded that the said sum was given by the first party to second party whereas the said sum was given by the second party to the first party. The said statement is accepted and is taken on record. 2.
Since the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement, the offence stands compounded. Nothing survives in this matter and the same is disposed of accordingly.
