Learned counsel for respondent points out that the order passed by the Assessing Authorities of the New Delhi Municipal Council on 07.12.2016 is an order which is appealable and the appeal lies to the Appellate Body which would be the Court of Additional District Judge, Patiala House Courts.

Learned senior counsel for petitioner points out that there is a serious question of law which is involved in the matter and this Court has wide jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to examine this question of law which cannot be examined by the

Appellate Body.

Counsel for parties will make their respective submits on the next date.
