This application has been filed by the respondent, with respect to order dated 30th September 2024, passed by this Court. By the said order, this Court had directed the release of Rs.2,60,000/-, deposited before this Court and Rs.40,000/- deposited before the Trial Court, to the respondent, having disposed of this petition filed by the accused/petitioner in proceedings under Section 138 of the NI Act.

Since directions for release of interest accrued on the said deposits were not clarified in the said order, the interest has not been released to the respondent.

It is accordingly clarified, that the said amounts may be released along with interest accrued, by the Registry of this Court and by the Trial Court, to the respondent.

Application is disposed of with the aforesaid directions. 5.
