The present petition under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 read with Article 215 of the Constitution of India seeks the following prayers:
(i) Punish the concerned officers of Respondents for committing contempt of the order / judgment dated 27.05.2025 passed by this Hon'ble Court, in terms of Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act; and (ii) Direct the Respondents to comply with the directions and immediately release the petitioner on furlough for a period of three weeks;
(iii) Pass appropriate order or directions in terms of Article 215 of the Constitution of India to uphold the dignity, authority, and independence of the judiciary, which is essential for the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. administration of justice (iv) Grant costs to the Petitioner; and/or (v) pass such other orders in favour of the Petitioner and against the Respondent as may be just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case; 4.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that despite the order granting furlough by the Coordinate Bench of this Court in W.P.(CRL) 1334/2025, he has not been released from the prison. 5.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent, on advance notice, submits that the reason for not releasing the present petition is the fact that the is undergoing sentence in another FIR being FIR No. 159/2001, under Sections 302/449/216/120B of the IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act, registered at P.S. Tosham, Haryana.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that his application seeking furlough in the said FIR is not being entertained by the Delhi Prison Authorities and points out that previously also his parole has been considered in the said FIR by this Court in W.P.(CRL) 1386/2016. 7.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the present petition with liberty to initiate appropriate proceedings in accordance with law.

The present petition is dismissed as withdrawn and disposed of accordingly.
