This is a petition under Section 29A(4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 6 months w.e.f. 28.08.2024 to make and publish the Award.

pleadings. Thus, the present petition has been filed. 6.

Issue notice. Ms. Tuteja, learned counsel for the respondent accepts notice and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 7.

I am satisfied that sufficient cause has been shown for the extension of the mandate.

For the said reasons, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 6 months w.e.f. 28.08.2024 to make and publish the Award.
