The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No.

976/2014, under Sections 323/341/354/354B/427/506/34 IPC registered at P.S. Najafgarh, Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes. 2.

As per the allegations levelled in the FIR, the petitioners made death threats and even gave beatings to the complainant as a result of which injuries were sustained.

Learned APP for the State submits that in the present case the petitioners are the only accused persons and respondent Nos.2 to 4 are the complainants/victims. He further submits that the chargesheet in the present case has been filed under the aforesaid sections. It is informed that one Ms. XYZ, one of the respondents/victims in the present case has since expired. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the parties have entered into a settlement vide Compromise Deed/M.O.U. dated 03.08.2023 and in terms of the settlement, respondent Nos.2 to 4 are now left with no claim or grievance whatsoever against the petitioners. 5.

The petitioners, who are present in the Court, have been identified by their counsel as well as by the Investigating Officer. Respondent Nos.2 to 4, who are also present in the Court, have been identified by the Investigating Officer.

The petitioners have shown remorse for their conduct and they undertake not to repeat the same in future. Respondent Nos.2 to 4 state that they have entered into the aforesaid Compromise Deed/M.O.U. out of their own free will, volition and without any coercion. They further state that they have no objection if the present FIR and consequent proceedings are quashed.

It is further informed that connected FIRs being 43/2012 and 977/2014 have been quashed vide an order of this Court dated 30.04.2024 in CRL.M.C.s 8889/2023 and 8890/2023 respectively. 8.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that no other proceedings are pending between the parties.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and since no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the present criminal proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed, subject to cumulative cost of Rs.50,000/- by the petitioners to be deposited with the Delhi State Legal Services Authority (A/c No.: The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Proof evidencing receipt of deposit shall be filed with the I.O. In case the receipt of cost is not filed within the stipulated time, the I.O. shall be at liberty to move an appropriate application.
