Petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers: "A. Direct Respondent No. 1 to release an amount of INR 3,00,000/- (under the Delhi Government‟s Assistance Scheme) after adjusting the amount of INR 2,00,000/- already paid, to the bank account of the Petitioner within two weeks in view of disability certificate dated 06.06.2022 issued by the Medical Authority, North East, Delhi under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India;

B. Direct Respondent No. 1 to pay INR 4,39,108/- to the Petitioner for amounts incurred by the Petitioner and his family on medicines of the Petitioner till date; The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. C. Direct Respondents to pay all expenses for any equipment that the Petitioners require as a consequence of the permanent incapacitation i.e., permanent locomotor disability consequent to the injuries sustained by the Petitioner during the riots. Alternatively, direct Respondents to provide the said equipment and treatment to the injured Petitioner in case any such treatment is required by the Petitioner in future;"

It is stated that a sum of Rs.3 lakhs has been sanctioned to the Petitioner vide sanction Order dated 12.12.2023 and the amount has been transferred to the Petitioner.

For any other claim of the Petitioner, it is always open to the Petitioner to approach the Delhi Riots Claims Commission. 4.

It is always open for the Petitioner to take other appropriate remedies as may be permissible under law for grant of additional compensation. 5.

With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of along with the pending applications, if any.

Liberty is also granted to the Petitioner to approach this Court in future if need so arises.
