W.P.(C) 2094/2017 Present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondentDDA to execute a lease deed in favour of petitioner for the land admeasuring 3.96 acres at Sector-C, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. It has been averred in the petition that DDA vide letter dated 11th September, 1986, had allotted 15 acres of land to petitioner, out of which, only 11.04 acres was handed over on 04th May, 1989 as the remaining land i.e. 3.96 acres was under litigation.

It has been further averred that perpetual lease deed with respect to

the 11.04 acres of land was executed on 28th April, 1995. Learned counsel for petitioner states that though possession of the remaining land admeasuring 3.96 acres has been subsequently delivered to the petitioner, yet the lease deed has not been executed till date. He further states that despite sending representation dated 07th September, 2016, no action has been taken till date.

Keeping in view the fact that the land is required for expansion of a hospital, this Court directs the Vice-Chairman, Delhi Development Authority, to dispose of the petitioner‟s representation dated 07th September, 2016 by way of a speaking order within a period of three weeks. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition is disposed of. In the event, the aforesaid order is not complied with, petitioner is given liberty to seek revival of the present petition.
