This is a petition filed under section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a further period of two months for making and passing the final Award.

It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of pronouncement of the Award. 3.
Ms. Gupta, learned counsel appears on behalf of the respondent and states that he has no objection to the petition being allowed. 4.
I am satisfied that sufficient cause has been shown for the delay. 5.
For the said reasons, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a further period of two months, to conclude the arbitration proceedings and passing the final Award.
