The present petition has been filed seeking following relief: "(i) Directing the Respondents to ensure the admission of the Petitioner in Nursery class under DG Category and provide free and compulsory elementary education to the Petitioner." 2.

Mr. Saurabh Kansal, learned counsel for the petitioner invites attention of the Court to the order dated 07.10.2024 to contend that a direction was issued by this Court to respondent no.2/school to grant provisional admission to the petitioner.

Mr. Yogesh Kumar, learned counsel for the respondent no.2/school submits that the order dated 07.10.2024 has been complied with and the respondent no.2/school has no objection in regularising the admission of the petitioner in case a direction in this regard is issued by this Court. 4.

In view of the fact that the petitioner was declared successful in a draw of lots conducted by the respondent no.1/DoE and was allotted respondent no.2/school under the DG category for the academic session 2024-25 and further considering the fact that the petitioner has the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. constitutional as well as statutory right to elementary education, the respondent no.2/school is directed to regularise the admission of the petitioner.
