This is an application filed by the petitioner seeking early hearing of the writ petition. We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as also the learned counsel for the respondents / Officer of the respondents. 2.
It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that as the petitioner is retiring in the month of September 2024, appropriate shall be that he be posted at Alwar where his wife is posted and children are residing. 3.
On the other hand, we have been informed by the learned counsel for the respondents that the process relating to the retirement benefits to the petitioner has already been initiated and the change of Unit at Alwar at this The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. stage shall cause delay. Moreover, the petitioner has also to report to the Unit at Lucknow for the release of his retiral benefit well before the minimum stipulated period of 35 days, (which may be more as well). All the above, cumulatively will require sufficient time leaving hardly any time on hand with the petitioner.

In view of the aforesaid and also the petitioner is retiring on attaining the age of superannuation in the month of September 2024, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he shall withdraw the present application as well as the writ petition.

Accordingly, the present application and the writ petition along with connected application, if any, are dismissed as withdrawn. 6.
The date already fixed, i.e., July 15, 2024 stands cancelled. V.
