O R D E R

% 20.12.2017 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 are related to each other.

A quarrel took place between them on some trivial matter which resulted in registration of FIR No. 195/2014 under Sections 354/506/509/34 IPC at police station Jama Masjit, on the complaint of respondent no.2. With the intervention of their elders in the family, petitioners and respondent no.2 have now settled their disputes amicably vide Settlement Deed dated 22nd February, 2017, therefore, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating thereform may be quashed. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Rishi Pal of police station Jama Masjid. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force,

pressure or coercion.

She further submits that she wants to maintain harmonious relations with the petitioners, therefore, she has no objection in case the FIR is quashed.

Keeping in view that a settlement has been arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
