O R D E R

The present proceedings are instituted under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No.569/2016 registered under Sections 341/323/354/509/506/34 IPC at Police Station Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes. 2.

As per the allegations levelled in the FIR, the petitioner alongwith respondent Nos.3 to 7 gave beatings, intimidated and misbehaved with respondent No.2.

Mr. Ashneet Singh, learned APP for the State, on instructions, submits that the petitioner and respondent Nos. 3 to 7 are the only accused and respondent No.2 is the only complainant/victim. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has drawn attention to the order dated 05.02.2024, wherein statement of respondent No.2, who was present in Court and identified by I.O., was recorded to the effect that she had The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. already received a sum of Rs.10 lacs and had also vacated the premises. She had further provided her no objection and she was exempted from personal appearance. On the said date, the petition remained pending for the impleadment and quashing qua the other accused persons. Now the amended memo of parties has been filed wherein the other accused persons have been impleaded and their affidavits have been placed on record. It is stated that the parties have amicably settled their disputes and in terms of the settlement, complainant is now left with no claim or grievance against the petitioners.

The petitioner, who is present in Court, has been identified by his counsel as well as the I.O./ SI H. Gangte PS S.J. Enclave, New Delhi. Respondent Nos. 3 to 7, who are also present in Court, have been identified by I.O.

The petitioners and respondent Nos. 3 to 7 have shown remorse for their conduct and undertake not to repeat the same in future. 7.

The petitioner and respondent Nos. 3 to 7 shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and considering that no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed qua all the accused persons.

With the above directions, the petition is disposed of alongwith miscellaneous application.
