There seems to be an objection with respect to pecuniary jurisdiction of this Court.

Consider the fact that the award is of Rs.40 lakhs and even if the interest is calculated thereon, the same would not exceed to Rs.2 crores. As per Section 5 of the Delhi High Court Amendment Act, 2015 the High Court shall exercise ordinary civil jurisdiction with respect to suit which exceeds the value of Rs.2 crores.

In view of the aforesaid, the instant petition be transferred to the Court of Patiala House Court-Commercial, Ms. Vijeta Goyal, ADJ. 5.
Let it be placed before concerned Principal District Judge for marking of the matter before the concerned Court for its listing on 16.04.2025. 6.
Thus, this case stands transferred.
