Vide order dated 24.02.2026, the Hon'ble Court has, inter alia, directed as under:- "....

Learned counsel for the petitioner has argued that in pursuance of the order dated 28th January, 2020, the petitioner had deposited Rs.2,00,000/- (including interest) with the Registrar General of this Court. The matter has been settled between the parties vide settlement dated 18th November, 2024. As per that settlement the said deposit has to be released to the petitioner. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent submits that he has no objection to the same and the deposit be released to the petitioner. Accordingly, the application is allowed and the said deposit be released to the petitioner. The present application stands disposed of in the above terms....." 3.

As per office report, an amount of Rs.2,00,000/- has been deposited in this case.

aforesaid order, the aforesaid amount alongwith accrued interest be released to petitioner No.7, who is the son of late Liyakhat Hasan, as other LRs of Late Liyakhat Hasan have already given their no objection in the form of General Power of Attorney, which was filed alongwith CM No.20992/2025 which was allowed and disposed of vide order dated 24.02.2026 passed by the Hon'ble Court.

In view of the above, Registrar (B&A) is directed to release the amount of Rs.2,00,000/- alongwith accrued interest to petitioner No.7/Rashid Husain in terms of aforesaid order passed by the Hon'ble Court after due verification and receipt.
