Issue notice. The learned APP accepts notice on behalf of the State. 8.

Petitioner and respondent no. 2 are present before this Court and have been identified by their counsel and Investigating Officer (IO) from Police Station Bhajanpura, Delhi.

9.

Brief facts of the case are that petitioner and respondent no. 2 are neighbours. It is stated on the complaint of respondent no. 2, the present FIR was registered at Police Station Bhajanpura, Delhi against the petitioner. Thereafter, with the intervention of elders and respectable members of the society, both the parties have resolved their grievances and settled their all disputes vide Compromise Deed/Settlement dated 10.05.2025. 10.

On a query made by this Court, respondent no.2 who has been identified by the IO, has categorically stated that he has entered into compromise out of his own free will and without any pressure, coercion or threat. It is also stated by respondent no. 2 that the entire dispute has been amicably settled between the parties and no objection for quashing of FIR has been given by respondent no. 2.

11.

In view of the above facts that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will and without any coercion, this Court is of the opinion that no useful purpose will be served by continuing the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. Hence, it would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. Moreover, there is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

12.

Accordingly, FIR bearing no. 156/2021, registered at Police Station Bhajanpura, Delhi for the commission of offence punishable under Sections 279/337/338 of IPC and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

13.

In view of above, the present petition stands disposed of. 14.
