The Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of B.N.S.S. has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking quashing of FIR No. 312/2023 dated 19.06.2023 under Section 324 and Section 326 of IPC, registered at Police Station Darya Ganj, on account of Settlement dated 20.07.2024.

It is a case where the petitioner/accused had inflicted blade injuries in the abdomen and other parts of the body of the complainant/injured. He was operated and has remained admitted in the hospital for 15 days. 7.

Considering the gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to accept the Settlement dated 20.07.2024 and to quash the aforesaid FIR. 8.
