This petition is preferred on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator. 2.
Disputes having arisen between the parties, Micro and Small Enterprises Facilitation Council referred the matter to Delhi International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) for arbitration where former Judge of the Supreme Court was appointed as the Sole Arbitrator. It is stated that arbitral proceedings are at the stage of final arguments and mandate of the Arbitrator has expired on 14.06.2025.

Ms. Chetna Rai, learned counsel enters appearance on behalf of the Respondents and on instructions, submits that Respondents have no objection to the extension of the mandate of the Arbitrator. Accordingly, with the consent of the parties and considering that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of final arguments, mandate of the learned Arbitrator is extended by a period of 09 months from 28.07.2025 and period between 15.06.2025 to 27.07.2025 is regularized. 6.
Petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
