This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of the arbitral tribunal by a period of 1 year to make and publish the arbitral award. 2.
It is stated that the delay occurred on account of the substitution of the arbitral tribunal.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Ms. Rani, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.
For the reasons noted above, I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay.

extended by a period of 1 year from today to make and publish the award.
