Petitioner has already lost possession of the subject land. 2.

We see no reason to cause interference in the writ jurisdiction, particularly when the issue is squarely covered by the judgment of Apex Court in the matter of Indore Development Authority v. Manoharlal, (2020) 8 SCC 129.

However, we make it clear that it shall be open for petitioner to initiate appropriate proceedings in accordance with law for recovery of compensation.
