O R D E R

The present petition has been filed seeking following reliefs: "(a) Issue a writ of mandamus or a writ of any other nature or any other order/direction directing the Respondents to permit conversion of the Category/ Nationality of the Petitioners from Indian to NRI for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test-Under Graduation-2025 Counseling for the year 2025;

(b) Issue a writ of mandamus or a writ of any other nature or any other order/direction directing the Respondents to accept and consider the documents/eligibility of the Petitioners in the NRI category for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test-Under Graduation-2025 Counseling for the year 2025 and if found eligible permit them to seek admission in the NRI category in Round 1 and/or further rounds."

The facts on which the petition is premised have been captured in order of this Court dated 25.07.2025.

Mr. Kunal Cheema, learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioners submits that during the pendency of present petition, respondent no.3/MCC on 25.07.2025 has issued a notice, therefore, the prayer of petitioners in clause (a) stands satisfied.

Insofar as prayer made in clause (b) is concerned, the contention of learned counsel for petitioners is that the documents have already been submitted by petitioners.

Ms. Avshreya Pratap Singh Rudy, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondents submits that the documents submitted by petitioners will be considered to ascertain their eligibility. The statement is taken on record.

In view of the above, no further orders are called for. 7.

The petition, as well as, pending applications are disposed of in the aforesaid terms, reserving liberty to petitioners to approach the Court in case their grievance with regard to prayer in clause (b) is not finally redressed.
