% 20.12.2019 This petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of time for the Sole Arbitrator to complete the proceedings and render the award by a period of one year effective from November 4, 2019. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent has given his consent for the same.

Noting the contents of the petition and the fact that the proceedings are at the stage of cross-examination of claimant's witness and the learned counsel for the respondent has given his consent for the extension, the time for the Sole Arbitrator to complete the proceedings and render the award is extended by a period of one year effective from November 4, 2019. The petition stands disposed of.
