The present petition has been filed on behalf of the petitioners seeking quashing of FIR No. 382/2016 registered under Sections 498/406/34 IPC at P.S. Mandawali Fazal Pur, Delhi, on the ground of settlement having arrived at between the parties.

Present none for the petitioners.

It is observed that on notice being issued, respondent No.2 appeared and denied any settlement.

The settlement mentioned in the petition is related to a Talaqnama, a reading of which would show that the same has no mention of the present FIR. Considering the stand of the parties, they were referred to Mediation. 5.

Ld. APP for the State states that a report from the Mediation Centre has been received whereby it is informed that no settlement could be arrived at between the parties.
