1. This is an application filed by the petitioner seeking to place on record an additional affidavit.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that some relevant information which has been detailed in the additional affidavit could not be mentioned in the writ petition due to an inadvertent error. It is submitted that this lapse on the part of the petitioner was an inadvertent lapse with no mala fide intention to conceal any facts.

3. A perusal of the record shows that even the additional affidavit stated to have been filed alongwith the application is not on record. In these circumstances, taking into account that the writ petition is still at a preliminary stage, we are of the view that if there are such errors in the writ petition which are required to be corrected by filling an The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. additional affidavit. It would be appropriate that the petitioner files a fresh amended writ petition by withdrawing the present petition.

4. As prayed for by the petitioner, we dismiss the application as also the writ petition as not pressed with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh writ petition on the same cause of action.

5. It is however made clear that the Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the petitioners' claims.
