The Petitioner has approached this Court for quashing an Order dated 20.10.2023 passed by Respondent No.1 refusing to register the sale deed dated 03.04.2023 pertaining to property No. l-C/34, First Floor, New Rohtak Road, Karol Bagh, New Delhi-110005.

It is stated by learned Counsel for the Respondent/DDA that the DDA had issued instructions to the Sub-Registrar requesting him not to register any documents pertaining to the said property because of allegations that forged/fabricated documents were used for conversion of the property from leasehold to freehold.

It is stated that after investigations, it has been found that no forged documents have been used, and therefore, DDA has issued a communication The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 20/05/2024 at 11:50:12
dated 14.05.2024 to the Sub-Registrar withdrawing its earlier communication not to register the documents. The statement is taken on record.

In view of the above, there is no impediment to register the sale deed. The Sub-Registrar is directed to proceed ahead in accordance with law, subject to any other impediment in registering the sale deed. 5.
