The present petition has been filed under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

It is stated that the judgment in the Award has been reserved on 13th May, 2025.

In the normal course, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is to expire on 18th July, 2025.

The petitioner has placed on record the order of the Arbitral Tribunal passed on 13th May, 2025 whereby the Tribunal has indicated that the time for rendering the Award be extended for a further period of 6 months with effect from 18th July, 2025.
