The present petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging inaction on the part of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) in taking requisite action qua unauthorized construction at the Property No. 8092, Gali No.7, Multani Dhanda, Paharganj, New Delhi - 110055. 2.

It is submitted that not only has the MCD been remiss in taking the requisite action, even the petitioner's application dated 14.02.2025 filed under the Right to Information Act, 2005 has also not been responded to and the requisite information sought therein has not been provided to the petitioner.

During the course of hearing, learned counsel for the MCD submits that the requisite action for removal of unauthorized construction / deviation from the sanctioned plan in respect of the aforesaid property is scheduled to be taken today itself, i.e., 28.07.2025. It is submitted that once the action is taken, the details thereof shall be duly intimated to the petitioner. The above redresses the grievance of the petitioner in the present petition, and therefore, no further orders are sought by the petitioner at this stage.
