Heard learned counsel for the parties.

After argument on behalf of the parties were heard at some length, Mr. Chetan Sharma, learned ASG representing the Central Government as also the Central Board of Film Certification, on instructions received from Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Additional Director, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, has stated that the Government shall withdraw the impugned order dated 21.07.2025 and take a decision on the revision petitions preferred by the petitioners afresh. Accordingly, the writ petitions are disposed of in The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
terms of the statement made by the learned ASG. 3.
It has been urged by the learned senior counsel representing the producer that the next date of release of the film has already been declared to be 08.08.2025 and they shall take some time before the said date for making arrangements for release of the movie by booking the theatres and cinema halls etc.

In the aforesaid view of the matter, we direct that the parties shall appear before the Revisional Authority in the Government on Monday i.e. 04.08.2025 at 02:00 P.M. and make their submissions. We provide that no further notice shall be required to be issued for the parties to appear before the Revisional Authority.

We also direct that the parties shall not seek adjournment before the Revisional Authority on 04.08.2025 or any subsequent date(s). The Revisional Authority is also directed to expedite the proceedings of the Revision Petitions and conclude the same by Wednesday i.e. 06.08.2025. 6.
We make it clear that any observation made by us in this order or even during the course of the hearing of the matter, shall not be construed to be our opinion on merits of the claim of either of the parties. 7.
We request Mr. Chetan Sharma, learned ASG to communicate this order to the Revisional Authority without waiting for its certified copy.
