1. The Petitioner has approached to this Court for directions to the Respondents for subjecting him for a further medical examination for appointment to the post of Sub Inspector in the Railway Protection Force, for which he was found disqualified on account of defective vision.

2. The Court called for the original medical record in order to satisfy itself that the Petitioner had been examined not once but twice by Specialists. The Petitioner's original medical examination record as well as the record of his review medical examination (RME) shows that he has been examined by Specialists. On both occasions the readings for his vision in both eyes show that he is medically unfit.

3. Learned counsel for the Petitioner sought to place reliance on the W.P.(C) 13630/2019 Page 1 of 2

certificates issued by 4 other public hospitals certifying his vision 6/6 in both eyes. He accordingly insisted that the Petitioner should be sent to the Army R&R Centre for a further examination.

4. Considering that the Petitioner has been examined just not once but twice by Specialists and found to be medically unfit, the Court sees no reason to accept the prayer of the Petitioner. The petition is dismissed. Pending application also stands disposed of.
