W.P.(CRL) 451/2017 On the oral prayer made by the learned counsel for petitioners, Ms. Shivani is impleaded as respondent no.3. Amended memo of parties be filed during the course of the day.

It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 are living in the same area. On some trivial issue a quarrel took place between them, which led to the registration of present FIR No.318/2016 under Sections

323/341/354 IPC at police station Mandawali Fazal Pur on the complaint of respondent no.2. It is submitted that a cross FIR No.281/2016 under Sections 323/341/354B/506/34 IPC was also registered at police station Mandawali Fazal Pur on the complaint of petitioner no.2 herein against respondent no.2 herein and her family members. It is submitted that both the matters have been settled amicably between the petitioners and respondent no.2. Accordingly, respondent no.2 does not wish to pursue the matter any further.

Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Satish PS Mandawali Fazal Pur. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure and coercion. She further submits that FIR may be quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived between the parties, who are neighbours, in the interest of justice, FIR No.318/2016 under Sections 323/341/354 IPC registered at police station Mandawali Fazal Pur, is quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
